THE GUNS OF BELIEF
And
THE PRAGMATIST
A HOPE is felt in the mind of the Observer
Yet, the corners of the Observers mouth turn down in pain…
As Bullets of Anger travel through the air
from a Premise of Believed-Truth.
Bullets of Belief tear into a victim’s body
from the Gun of Truth-Presumed,
And, if the victim too possesses
weapons of Believed-Truths,
then another’s blood will be splattered on the walls of these lives.
The turning down of the Observer’s mouth to sadness
as the anticipation of those Bullets of Belief tearing into the flesh of feelings.
and then the Pragmatist…….. understanding,
that the rooms in their lives would be covered with the stains of
psychological blood.
That briefly felt HOPE of this Pragmatist… was “the recognition
in the understanding…
that these Bullets of Anger from the Guns of Belief”
Should not…..be our practice.
